Cork Golf Club

Cork Golf Club

Founded in 1888 and redesigned in 1927 by Alister Mackenzie, this championship parkland course is as graceful and mature as its age would suggest.

  • 18 hole
  • Parkland
  • Par 72
  • 5,956 Meters

Scenically situated in Cork Harbour, the club has played host to major Amateur and Professional Championships over the years, including the Irish Open, Irish Professional Championships, Irish Close Championships and the National Finals.

It will test golfers of all standards and they will bring away with them memories of a great days golf. The course has many unique features, not least holes 6-10 which are set in a disused limestone quarry. The golfer who can finish with par 4's, will have played golf to the highest standard.

The signature hole is the 4th, where the golfer must carry the Lee estuary from the tee, while the green is perched on the edge of the quarry.
