Local Knowledge
  • Keep close eyes for the Union Jack flag flying between the 9th and 10th holes? If it is flying then the excellent little Tavern Bar is open for business so be sure to recharge the batteries with a quick whiskey!
  • We have to mention some places of interest worth visiting whilst playing golf around the North Coast. Dunluce Castle, Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge and of course the world famous Giant’s Causeway. All these famous sites are very close to Royal Portrush and definitely worth a visit.
  • If staying in Portrush itself then a visit to the Harbour Bar is definitely a must and be sure to try their 16oz T-bone steak, absolutely outstanding!
